Air Assualt Exercise

The Northwest Guardian has a article describing a recent air assault exercise conducted by soldiers from the 2-3 INF, 3/2 SBCT.

Aviators from the the 4th Squadron, 6th Air Cavalry Regiment assisted Stryker Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment Jan. 20 with aircraft familiarization and other aviation-related tasks.

In the crisp morning air, Soldiers from B Company hastily exited a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter with weapons at the low ready securing an area that could possibly be crawling with enemy insurgents.

Although just a field exercise, the training the Soldiers received will prepare them for upcoming missions.
