To the Family and Loved Ones of SPC Orlando Perez: "I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours, to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of Freedom".....Abraham Lincoln. My condolences to the family of SPC Perez. May Our Lord grant you strength during this sad time. My deepest thanks for his sacrifice to our nation & to the Iraqi's who may one day truly understand the gift they have been given. I will remember Orlando in my prayers.

Perez will never be forgotten! I love you P! Rest in Peace! He was one of the nicest people you could ever know. Sad how this kind of thing happens to such a good person. My condolences go to his family and his wife April.

We lost our beloved son and American Hero recently also and understand no words can comfort or remove the pain your family is feeling. SPC Orlando A. Perez fights in heavens army now. You were the finest and bravest Soldier I have ever had the honor to serve with. The entire platoon mourned at your loss. Many of us cried at the memorial service that was attended by almost every single 2-2 SCR soldier that was on FOB Falcon. You will never be forgotten.
