I am heart sickened.. my son was also deployed with yours. "... to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom"... know that he will for as long as his battle buddies live; he will not be forgotten.

To the Family of SPC Jon M Schoolcraft,
Words cannot come close to the saddness we feel for your family at this time of your grief. It brings back to mind our loss of three years. We feel a closeness to 2nd Brigade as many of our dear friends are stationed there. Our prayers for you and your family are that Our Lord embrace you with his love and grace in your time of sorrow. We know all too well the journey that you have embarked upon. Please know that your hero is a true Patriot and will NEVER be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, and Jon's Comrades in Arms that must now carry on without his presence but with only his memory. Take comfort from those that surround you in your time of need. "Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be consoled."
