PFC Marius L. Ferrero

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Marius L. Ferrero, 23, of Miami, Fla., died Nov. 18 when an improvised explosive device detonated during a mounted patrol in Baquabah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.

All of us here are deeply saddened by the loss of another Stryker soldier.

he was a great friend and soldier i was not able to deploy with him due to a knee injury i just wish i could of been there by his side and maybe he would still be here but fates a funny thing i just wish the best for his family and go bless

I have a lot to be Thankful for on this day of Thanksgiving! As I await my son's return from Iraq on leave this Sunday, I pray for your son's return home! My son is also in 3/2 SCR, H Company and every loss is difficult for all of us in the Stryker Family!
