CPL Jason T. Lee

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Cpl. Jason T. Lee, 26, of Fruitport, Mich., died Nov. 18 when an improvised explosive device detonated during a mounted patrol in Baquabah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Lee family, as well as his friends and comrades.

I have a lot to be Thankful for on this day of Thanksgiving! As I await my son's return from Iraq on leave this Sunday, I pray for your son's return home! My son is also in 3/2 SCR, H Company and every loss is difficult for all of us in the Stryker Family!

Thank you Cpl. Jason T. Lee for serving our Nation so selflessly. Some people have heroes that fly around in capes and only exist in their imagination's.
MINE, they wear combat boots and take it to the enemy everyday somewhere around the world protecting our way of life here in America. Cpl Lee you are our hero. Thank you!
