The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Avealalo Milo, 23, of Hayward, Calif., died Oct. 4 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Vilseck, Germany.

I had met SPC Milo a few times, My husband worked with this man, He will be greatly missed but NEVER forgotten, My heart and prayers go out to his wife and family, I pray that God helps this through this very painful time in their lives, I also pray that his brothers in arms can find the strangth they need to continue on their mission. to SPC Milo you are a HERO to all and will be greatly missed.
