I awoke this morning and saw the article and photo on Capt Jensen in the newspaper - I was so filled with sorrow for his loss. I opened my Bible to do my daily readings and was directed to read Psalm 45. I want to share the verses 2-6 with the Jensen family and friends:
You are the fairest of men;
grace flows from your lips,
because God has blessed you for ever.
Strap your sword upon your thigh, O mighty warrior,
in your pride and in your majesty.
Ride out and conquer in the cause of truth
and for the sake of justice.
Your right hand will show you marvelous things;
your arrows are very sharp, O might warrior.
The peoples are falling at your feet,
and the King's enemies are losing heart.
My sincere condolences and continued prayers for Drew and all our mighty warriors.

We often say "rest in peace" as a passing statement, but this young man and his family have truly earned the right to Rest in Peace. I hope you will all get both rest and peace, and know that your sacrifices are appreciated.

It would seem, that despite his severe injuries, this HERO could not go HOME until his soldiers were safe. CPT Drew Jensen, your mission is complete and now you may Rest In Peace in the Arm's of a Loving God. We will keep your family, friends and fellow soldiers in our hearts and prayers as they mourn your passing. May they each find comfort in your Heavenly reward, and may the Angels wrap them in comfort and protection. Go with God, HERO.

Words can't express my solidarity with the family,wondelful wife, friends and fellows brothers in arms of CPT. Jensen in this time of sorrow. Been a father of one of his soldier in 5/20 coming back in this day's sound and safe, I understand something now. I was the grace of God and leaders like CPT Jensen, who made that possible. Probably even in his bed he was praying for his soldiers. CPT Jensen you can rest in peace! Thank you for your service and sacrifice .
Godspeed Hero!
