To the family, friends and brothers in arms serving along side SSG Jacob Thompson, may the Good Lord give you the necessary strength to get thru each day without your loved one. SSG Thompson, you will always be remembered! You willingly went into harms way with an attitude of making this world a safer place. You protected strangers on our shores and theirs. You are a Hero! Rest in peace young man, until you meet your loved ones again.
Respectfully,
Linda

Once again the 3/2 Stryker family is faced with the fact that "Freedom is NOT Free."
We have again lost brave young members of our family.
To say that Jacob is a hero goes without saying. My son has been serving with him
and was his friend. That makes this loss even harder for my family, especially my son who has lost a close friend.
Words can never express how our hearts are breaking for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
