Words can never express how much my heart is breaking for you. My son has been serving with Kareem and was a friend of his. Although I never met your son, I feel like he is a part of my family because he was a friend of my son.
Kareem is also a wonderful example of what this country should stand for. A brave young man who loves his country and is willing to fight to protect her. He is a true American hero.
Thank you for raising such a wonderful son.
You are in my prayers.

My sympathy to the family and friends. SPC Kareem Khan you were a soldier in my son's squad, how my heart aches for the loss to the family, friends and soldiers. This comes at such a tough time, you have come so far and doing what you do every day. May you rest in peace and to the family, please be proud of this fine young man, who has done more for his country than most will ever know. Spc Kareem and the other soldiers were so well respected not only by fellow soldiers but the Iraq people too. Our soldiers were doing things right, treated people with respect and were in turn spoken of with respect. Rest in peace my soldier, you have done a job well and we are all proud of you.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God
