Once again we mourn the passing of a brave young member of our Stryker family.
Rhett is one of the finest and bravest that America has. He is a true American hero who has been taken from us far too soon.
May the Lord be with you in this your time of need. My heart and prayers are with you.

I had the sincere privilege of knowing this young soldier. He had a smile truly the size of Texas, and one that I will always have in my mind, now and forever. Rhett, you will truly be missed but never forgotten. We know that we will all meet again - but until then we know you'll be watching over our guys. Keep on smiling now and always - we love you and will keep you in our hearts forever. Rest Easy Butler.

My son also drives a stryker with the 2-1 CAV, 4/2 ID. Rhett lives in the memories of not only those who love him but also those who have ever thought of him. To be at the call of our country, no matter what it asks, is to be truly selfless. I pray for comfort for those who grieve.

Once again we are brought to our knees, knowing that another soldier has joined the ranks of God's HEROS. CPL Rhett Butler, you have given your life that others might live in peace. Now you may rest in peace, as we join your family, friends and fellow soldiers as they mourn your loss. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. May all those who loved you find comfort and strength in the knowledge that we all pray for them.

"This is my commandment love one another as I love you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. John 15:12-13 The sacrifice you made is the greatest a person can make for another. You will never be forgotten.
