Comments For "SGT Andrew J. Higgins":
To my brother,
You will be missed by all, especially us you called friends and family. One thing is for sure, you always left an impression on those you met. I feel fortunate that you counted me as a friend and a brother before you passed from this world. I'm so sorry that you couldn't stay for awhile longer. You will be missed brother.

To Rachel, and Mr. and Mrs. Higgins.
My son, Jonathan, held Sgt. Higgins as his closest friend. They served in Ft Lewis on the same FS Team. Please know that Andrew was a very special person, and Jon's life is much richer for the experience. At the same time, this is one of the reasons that makes these circumstances so heartbreaking. Please know that we share in your grief, but at the same time we are so grateful for the time spent together. Andrew was a very special person, who enriched the lives of those around him. Our hearts go out to all of you.

Dear Jerry and Cheryl, Andrew's parents
We wanted to add our comments to the Stryker site so that it would be recorded for all to see.
We are all going to miss Andrew very much. In our humble opinion he was an almost perfect son and human being. He cared deeply for his family and friends. He only wanted to serve his family, his country, and his fellow soldiers.
His loss will be felt not only by his fellow soldiers, his family and friends but by the world in general.
We need more people like Andrew. Who have the ethics and stature to stand up and do what is right.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Anything we can do to ease your pain in this horrible time we will.
With love and hugs,
Arnie and Allison
Friends for 44 years
