On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to thank you all for your kind words. Ricky was my cousin. We have a missing piece in our lives that only through time, God can comfort. Ricky will always be remembered for his bravery, honor, and the love that he shared. I will never be able to forget his smile! Thank you all again for your prayers and please keep them coming.

Your loss is such a heavy one. I send you my fervant thoughts of gratitude for Ricky's service to our country and deep and sorrowful regret about his ultimate sacrifice.

I would like to thank everyone for remembering us in prayer. My niece phoned me and told me about this sight. Ricky Salas is my nephew this past week has been very hard for all of us. We buried him yesterday. My sister and Ricky's wife are really having alot harder time dealing with it. They have set up a Memorial fund for his two children. The most important thing is to keep praying for all the ones that are still over there. My husband is still in Bagdad. Thanks again

Thank everybody for caring Ric Salas Jr. is my cousin his dad Ric Salas Sr. is taking it really hard he is my real uncle. If i could talk to April i would tell her that i am really sorry. I do miss him alot.. Thank you again..

I remember seeing little Ricky running around playing with his brothers and cousins when you all use to go to Roxie and Joe's and other family gatherings. He was such a cutie and so joyful. My heart just broke when I learned of what happened. I am so very sorry and my heart goes out to you with love and prayers. You will always be my family and I will always love all of the Salas family. Rhonda, I use to go to school and church with you and your brother in Crosbyton.
