Freedom isn't free, but another of our soldiers has paid the Ultimate Price for the freedom on people in another land. May God and His Band of Brothers welcome this soldier home so that he can join the effort on God's team. We are so saddened by this loss, and the family, friends and fellow soldiers of SPC Martinez will be in our hearts and prayers. His sacrifice will not be forgotten. May God hold all of you in His Hands until you meet again.

My heart aches for you, as we all know that our son, brother, or husband could be there too. May God let you see how many share your grief and loss, and give you some comfort to know that we truly understand what a wonderful selfless act this young man so willingly gave. He will have his own star in heaven! Lean on the Lord for comfort in this time... it is all that can be done. Your child is safe with God now! There is no more hurt or harm that can come to him ever again. God be with you.
