Gabby,
My heart goes out to you and the boys. I too know what you are going through and there are no words to say that will make it better or bring them back. I sometimes wonder how I can get through the next day knowing he is gone forever, but it is a difficult reality to face and till this day it's even hard for me to believe that brian is'nt coming home and now solo too. He was a great friend to brian and I'm positive they are looking down at us together trying to help us get through this tragic time. Godbless you and the boys and once again my heart goes out to you.

Gabby, Julian, Max and the rest of Juan's family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers, today, tomorrow, and in the years ahead. Juan was a hero who truly believed in what he was doing. He was the leader anyone could look up to. Many knew Juan as a soldier and family man, but we also knew him as a Cub Scout leader and an assistant Scout Master. He taught my son more than we will ever know. He was a second father to my son when my husband was deployed. My son wishes there was a way he could let you all know what Juan really meant to him. I talked with Kris this morning and he wishes he could be here for you. We are here and will always be here for all of you. Juan will be missed by so many, but his legacy will go on. He has molded his children and his scouts in a true and loyal way- so he will live on through all the boys he has worked with.
May God keep you all safe in your journey home and we will be here for you when you return. We are a phone call away.
All our love and prayers to you.

Gabby,
My deepest, deepest sympathies to you and the boys. I never met Juan but he seemed like such a wonderful man, husband, father, friend and soldier. I know this doesn't give you much comfort but Juan is now with his friend, Brian Mack. The two of them now will watch out for the rest of the boys. Please let me know if I can do anything. Call me if you need to talk.

Gabby, Julian, Max, Friends, Family, and the fellow soldiers of SSG Juan Solorio,
You have my deepest sympathy for your loss, I did not know SSG Solorio, but from reading the many beautiful tributes written about him, I know he was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, scout leader, friend, and soldier. I know there are no words that can take away the pain you are feeling in your hearts right now, but I hope that someday the memories you have shared will help you to find comfort in the fact that your lives were all blessed by the friendship and love you shared with him. I am sure he is watching over you, telling you he is still right there with you, always in your hearts... hold on to that and may God bless you and guide you though these difficult days... Gabby I agree, we all owe you our thanks for being that loving, supportive military wife and mother that too often gets overlooked. I thank you and I thank you "SSG Solo" .. for everything. He will never be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Char

I went to basic training with Juan almost twelve years ago. I lived with him at Fort Hood for over a year. I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the news this morning.
I cannot express how saddened I am to hear about Juan. Gabby and family or anyone who knows, please let me know of the services planned here in Dallas. I send my deepest condolences to his families-Gabby, the kids, and his parents and siblings, but also to his other family-his friends and fellow soldiers in his unit.

DIOS DE AMOR Y DE BONDAD,
SI CEGARAS MAS MIS OJOS ACATO TU VOLUNTAD
ASI POSTRADO DE HINOJOS,
Y TE DIGO DESDE AHORA, QUE SIEMPRE HE CREIDO EN TI
MAS COMO SOY PECADORA, SEÑOR TEN PIEDAD DE MI,
DA LUZ A TODOS LOS OJOS, QUE ESTAN
EN LA OBSCURIDAD, Y ASI POSTRADOS
DE HINOJOS, TE DIRAN, DIOS DE BONDAD
