The Department of Defense has announced the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
SGT Christopher M. Pusateri, 21, of Corning, NY, died Feb.16 in Mosul, Iraq, of injuries sustained from enemy forces using small arms fire. SGT Pusateri was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC.

As I sit here with pain in my heart and tears in my eyes reading this,I wish there was something I could say to take the pain away. but only god can do that. I pray that you find comfort. I pray for christopher. good bless him for his bravery and courage. God Bless You.

Thank you for all your kinds words and your prayers. I am the wife of the late SGT. I don't go a single day without thinking of him and missing him. I pray that he's up in heaven with all the others that have died for our country. He is now my gaurdian angel and will always be remembered. May he rest in peace!

I am Chritsophers aunt - in - law. He was a brave soldier and a good man. I came across this site and thank everyone for their support and kind words. We will pray for your sons and daughters that are over there fighting for their lives. never let a day go by with out telling the people you love how much you love them. He and I were the best of Friends in Fayetteville. I knew his wife at school. I am in the military as well. RIP my friend. You are a hero. I hope me, stevie, and ryan can hear from your folks or wife and know that they are all right. tears do run in my eyes when i see his memorial at the special operations and airborn museum.
