ISF repel insurgent attack, kill one

MOSUL, IRAQ (January 29, 2005) – Iraqi Security Forces were able to thwart an anti-Iraqi insurgent attack on a power station in northern Iraq today.

Iraqi Intervention Forces were guarding a power station in southwestern Mosul when they came under attack. The IIF were able to fight off the insurgents, killing one. No IIF injuries were reported.
