Stryker Brigade News

This is so unbelievably sad, I cry for them and only hope that God can bring them comfort - as only he can at this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with SFC Mack's family and all of our soldiers with 3-21! Stay strong and know that we are all supporting you. Even with a loss of a soldier we will remain couragous! We have another angel watching over us... Thank you for your sacrifice SFC Mack!

To the Mack Family,

There are no words that can take away the pain. Please allow those that are surrounding you now and in the days to come to give you strength and to hold on to that love and care that they will offer in whatever you need. A wise woman told me recently to look to where your strength cometh and there you will find peace. We took our strength from God and knowing that our hero died doing what he believed in and I know that yours did as well.

To the special family of our great soldier Spc.Mack-My tears were shed for you today and my prayers go up to our Lord Jesus Christ for you. My our Lord wrap his arms around you and give you the peace He can give. What a true blessing our soldiers are to everyone in this world!

I heard the news yesterday. How sad that another commerade has passed. Mack was a great guy. I met him at the JMTC on Ft. Lewis when he worked there as a laison for 1st Brigade's combat lifesavers. He was a really funny guy...and ALL about going to the gym :-)

I pray for his daughter. I am so sorry for your loss. Your father gave the ultimate sacrifice and you should be so proud. He loved you more than anything in the world and I know he is watching out for you in heaven. God Bless you.

A great Ranger-Buddy and Friend,

Brian took over for me when I left Ft. Lewis and quickly became a mentor as well as good friend before I departed. His Love of family, passion for training soldiers to be their best, and sense of humor I will never forget. Tommorow, Sunday 16 January at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dahlonega GA, there is a special service for Army Rangers scheduled. My family and I will say a prayer for Brian, his Family, and his Comrades.
Like so many others, I'm a better person for having served with and known such a great man.

I was saddened by the news of SFC Mack. I pray that God gives his family the strength and support to get through this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of another hero, SFC Mack. My thoughts and prayer are with the family. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Brian will be greatly missed. He was a great guy and I will miss our talks almost every night. Lisa and Ashley I am sorry for this loss. He loved you very much and Ashley he said you meant the world to him. He talked very highly of his platoon and he loved being with a great bunch of guys. You guys have lost a great leader and my thoughts are with you and the men that were hurt as well. I love you Brian and will miss you.

Lisa and Ashley would like "Brians' Boys" to know how much he loved them. She is honored that he was a part of such an outstanding group of Heroes. "Mack Daddy" will still be watching and guiding you from above. Her heart also goes out to those that have been injured and to their families as well. She also wants to thank all of you for calling and giving her a little piece of what he felt in his heart for his family. Those last words and finding his ring are the greatest gift you have given at this time and mean the world to lisa and her daughter. They love him more than words can say and will miss him deeply. SFC Mack was talked of highly by my husband - My thoughts and tears are with those who knew and loved him..I am deeply touched by every soldier that comes in harms away and pray that each comes home to those that love them.

I'm still in a state of shock to hear that Brian is gone. I never got to meet Brian but had heard so much about him through a loved one. I know my sister would liked to have thanked you in person for being such a dear friend. I'm just sadden that I never got to meet him and had hoped to one day. My heart goes out to Brian's friends and family.

My son instant messaged me last night. SFC Mack was so important to him. He was a very special person. He will be greatly missed by the 3-21 guys. I am thankful for all that he taught my son at Ft. Lewis. His family will be in my prayers...at a time like this words are hard to find, but God's love can carry us when we don't have any strength of our own. Praying you will feel that Him carrying you.

I just do not have the words to express my grief fo you. My son, Glenn, is heartbroken over the of yor son, Sgt. Mack, aka Dad. He loves him like an older brother and is grief-stricken by your loss. Brian it's hard to believe that you are gone, you have always been one of a kind, an outstanding person and a leader, there will never be another person that will be able to take your place in life, it's going to be hard to go on, knowing that I can't talk to you everyday to get your guidance, but at least I know that you will be watching over me from up above.
