Wednesday’s ceremony, scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Soldiers Fieldhouse inside the base, is reserved for military family and friends. Another memorial service will be held that the general public can attend on New Year’s Eve from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in downtown Puyallup at Pioneer Park. They plan to have a candlelight vigil there.
