I guess Michael got demoted or something since his pay was cut by two thirds. LOL. Actually, I guess it is not that funny, but I am sure it is just a clerical error and I hope to get it cleared up Monday or so.

Michael submitted some paperwork for a convalescent leave and we should hear more about that Monday. If all goes well, my trip to DC may be a short one. It sure will be nice to have the whole family home for Christmas. Time will tell.

Michael is living with us in the hotel now, making the trip to the hospital each morning for PT and OT. It sure have made an improvement in his attitude. However, being around so many people does get a bit tricky at times. His trip to the airport to take his sister back was more stressful than we had anticipated. Something about changing lanes and the amount of overpasses having adverse affects on his calm. I think we will be taking it easy for a while until he adjusts a bit more.

I sure hope the docs give him the ok for leave, it has been a long time and I think a trip home will do him some good.

PT and OT is going well for him but they are still keeping his heart rate down for a while to ensure the wound heals properly. The drain tube should be removed tomorrow and if all goes well, he should be on to the next phase of his rehab. process.

I am going to post a few more pics in the gallery later on tonight. We got some good pics of the OCC guys with Michael, Andrea, Cindy and Georganna. Speaking of Cindy, she is so sneaky and remembers everything she reads. Anyway, to make a long story short, I am now the proud owner of an American Infidal t-shirt. Looks good on me too if I must say. :-)

Anyway, time to get Michael's bandages changed for the night. Mom is giving me instructions on the proper method so I need to pay attention.
