We haven't posted any in a while, but the public affairs detachment with Task Force Olympia releases video interviews and news features that can be downloaded. You'll need some type of media software installed to play them. Provided below are links to, and descriptions of, the latest batch.

Soldiers Prepare to Vote A-roll

Interviews from "Soldiers Prepare to Vote Package" in the Iraq section. Captain J. Philip Ludvigson, 139th MPAD Voting Assistance Officer, says he ensures every Soldier in his unit has all the resources to vote while overseas. Says there has been more participation this year, probably because the exitement in the states has spilled over into Iraq; Soldiers involved in combat have a bigger stake in this election; Says Soldiers' votes were not counted in the 2002 election, but the Department of Defense has ironed out past voting challenges. General Ham Interview - NBC

Brigadier General Ham of Task Force Olympia comments about the state of operations in Mosul following the assault in Fallujah. He comments on the Sunni-Arab affinity between the two cities and how coalition forces were able to contain the coordinated insurgency directed at the Iraqi police on Thursday.

General Hamm Interview - CNN

Brigadier General Ham of Task Force Olympia discusses the recent increase of insurgent voilence in Mosul in the wake of the Fallujah assault. He mentions how groups of anti-Iraqi forces concentrated attacks on Iraqi military and police forces on Thursday.

General Hamm Interview - CBS

Brigadier General Ham comments on the increased insurgent violence in Mosul in the wake of the Fallujah assault. The General comments not only on the trends and consistency of attacks, but the progress made in Northern Iraq and persistent efforts of the insurgents to stilfe that process.
