The DoD has identified Spc. Thomas K. Doerflinger as the Task Force Olympia Soldier killed in Mosul yesterday (see below). Spc. Doerflinger was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, WA. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and comrades.
