LTG Petraeus visit (7 min.)
Lieutenant General David Petraeus visited the Mosul area. He gave a press conference at the Mosul Joint Communications Center for Iraqi media, then visited the Al Kindi training site to observe training of Iraqi National Guard (ING) soldiers. They fire at a rifle range.

Helmet and Armor Donation (5 min.)
Multinational forces donated more than 2000 body armor vests and 1600 helmets to Mosul force protection personnel. Checking stickers on boxes stacked on large palettes, force protection troops open a box, forklift loads palettes on a truck. CU's of a new vest and helmet.
Interview with CPT Simons (6 min.)
Interview between Captain Simons (from Seattle) in Mosul and KIRO in Seattle. Talks about the discovery of a large weapons cache, working with Iraqi National Guard members they had helped train. After the ING raid, American soldiers used special equipment to find the largest stash of weapons found north of Baghdad (rocket-propelled grenades, machine guns, ammunition, explosives, missile, mortar tubes and rounds). CPT Simons says training ING is going very well and they are eager to be in charge, conducting primary bulk of the mission. ING also have popular support in the community. Enjoys support from family, especially snacks and candy that don't melt. Talks about hot days in Iraq.
Interview with SGT Vickers (5 min.)
Interview between Sergeant Vickers in Mosul and KING in Seattle. Says he gets to talk with his wife quite often, but separation is still difficult. Works with training the Iraqi National Guard and thinks they're well ahead of expectations. Says Iraqis are curious and ask a lot of questions of Americans, but don't talk much about themselves. Talks about building trust with ING, and sees motivation and determination in them.
Interview with SGT Sarnoski (4 min.)
Interview between Sergeant Sarnoski in Mosul and KING in Seattle. He provides camp security, screening people, checking cars for explosives. Misses family the most and hopes to be home by Thanksgiving - has constant communication with them. Says he's learned how to see all sides of a situation.
Interview with SSG Gargarin (3 min.)
Interview between Staff Sergeant Gary Gargarin (from Los Angeles) in Mosul and KING in Seattle. He's a howitzer section chief in charge of a nine-man crew. SSG Gargarin talks about staying alert and safe, and how vehicles are used and protected. Says he misses golf and wouldn't mind a rainy Washington day.
