Stryker Gear
We've talked about it for a while now, but we are finally able to offer some Stryker gear for sale. Read the details below.
A while back a number of people on our bulletin board mentioned the fact that there was very little merchandise out there featuring the Strykers. Since then we've had two Stryker families take on the huge task of designing and selling a great car magnet and a beautiful t-shirt, essentially on a not-for-profit basis. If you haven't seen them before be sure to check them out. You can still order both.
Additionally, we wanted to find a volunteer graphic designer to create a logo that we could use for a variety of other products. St. Louis Sue picked up the ball and asked her co-worker, Eric Schoolcraft, if he would be willing to help out. He has created two excellent designs (one black and white, and one color) for us to use.
The next step was to figure out how to turn these designs into products. We decided the best thing to do was to create a shop at Cafe Press, an online merchant that handles all ordering, manufacturing and fulfillment (yes!). The prices are a little more expensive because of the services offered, but I think it's worth it. All of the items are offered at cost - there is no mark up by us.
Couple items before we give you the link. We've created a few products, but there are plenty more available. Check the product list at Cafe Press and let us know if there is an item you want that isn't currently offered. We won't be making any t-shirts because we already have a great design being offered (see above).
