Multinational Forces cooperation with Iraqi Security forces brought in more than 20 suspected terrorists, a collection of several unauthorized munitions, AK-47's, other rifles and rocket propelled grenade launchers. Soldiers search vehicles, raid a building and patrol a highway. Stryker vehicles and helicopters participate. Governor Visits Syrian Border (6 min.)

Governor Duraid Kashmoula of the Ninevah province meets with authorities along the Syrian border. They discuss the importance of cooperating to increase security. He visits the border gate and customs office.

Generating a Bright Future (2 min.)

Civil Affairs soldiers visit many villages in northern Iraq to meet with local leaders and understand their needs. Their efforts resulted in generators worth $250,000 and the construction of 12 new schools. Soundbites from Sardeer Ameer, Mayor of Peoray, and First Lieutenant Tim Hilger.
