I received this email today from Destination Harley-Davidson
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Rally for the Troops at Destination Harley-Davidson.

Tacoma, WA July 11, 2004 - All monies raised will go to the families of the
Stryker Brigades Task Force Olympia.

The ride will be going down I-5 past all the forts and turning around at
Mounts Road exit and returning to the dealership for the rally. We
currently have 500 bikes pre-registered for the event.

John Curley from Evening Magazine will be leading the ride with Ed Wallace's
Captain America bike (a replica of the Easy Rider bike). Ichabod Caine from
KMPS will be here and has done a lot of talking about the rally on his radio
show. Spike O'Neil from KZOK radio will emcee the event.

Tacoma Police and Fife Police Departments are assisting with the ride as
escorts.

An Austin Powers impersonator will be here along with his 6'ft go-go booting
side-kick. There will be a caricature artist on premise. We will also have
a band playing. There will be raffle prizes, a bag auction and spin the
wheel. The BBQ is being donated by Operation BBQ N.W. The cost will be $5.00
to eat with all the money going to the cause.

This is a non-political event established to show support for the troops.
Despite how you may feel about this war, you do not have to love war to
support our service men and women who have made a supreme sacrifice for this
country. As human beings, we owe our troops and their families our support.
General Carter Ham who is the General that heads up the Stryker units in
Iraq will be calling and we are attempting to set up a direct video feed so
that we can talk and see at the same time right over in Iraq.


Non-riders may show their support by joining the Foot Brigade on Overpass
122 at Camp Murray at 10:00 AM on July 11th to cheer the bikes as we ride
under the bridge.

Pre-registration is $5.00 and day of is $10.00. Registration starts at
8:00AM on Sunday July 11, 2004 at Destination Harley-Davidson
