how much more will it take to bring them home? they don't want help and we are the ones that are going through hell. It is time to bring them home.

My son and all his Buddies (extended family) are in Mosul, and we pray for their safe return. The switch off cannot come too soon. But my greatest wish is that no other soldiers be sent to Iraq, and that all those there now, return home safe...

We are praying for the families of those lost and injured. This is the time we need to show our support for the soldiers, their families & their mission. It's hard not to be selfish and ask for our soldiers to come home, but they are there for a purpose and until their mission is accomplished, we just have to be patient and pray that God will keep them safe. I'm sure it is much worse for them than it is for all of us at home. God bless our soldiers, a proud Stryker Mom

We have to be strong here at home. Every mother/wife/sister etc. wants their loved one safe at home. We can't cave in here, what kind of message is that sending to ours sons over there. Support our soldiers and let them feel what they are doing is right! God will bless them and keep them.

It is time these soldiers come home. No more death!! We need these great men (and woman) at home, alive and functioning. When will we find out wich soldier died? Stryker Sister

I have to agree with Jennifer and Maria. There's no doubt that families would prefer to have their soldiers home, but that's not the reality we're faced with. If you read the article farther up the page identifying the soldier killed, his family mentioned that he believed in his mission in Iraq. Particularly in this instance I think it would be disrespectful to suggest he died in vain.

I stand with Maria and Todd on this. Our hearts are breaking with every loss of life. But we play a role in this battle, too. Let us be strong together, with purpose and resolve. Let's guard our hearts, thoughts and words.
